• Significant attempts have been made to address the dumpsters that line the rear wall of the
building including trying to obtain permission to paint the dumpsters and contacting building
owners to discuss enlarging a gated dumpster area to relocate the recycle dumpsters on the
East end of the building off of the wall. Permission was not obtained to paint the dumpsters and
building owners have been unresponsive regarding other options.
• The current layout includes approximately 11 ft of open space around the 3rd door because the
current business occupant uses residential sized receptacles, however, the artist feels strongly
that the artwork should kept mainly above the dumpster line in the event another business
moves in and upgrades to large dumpsters that would fill the space.

•The background of the design will include whimsical shapes in the same colors as the receptacles so
that the dumpsters will blend into the wall and the overall design
