City of R�nton sl�all have th� right to ingress and egress over thase portions of the Property necessary to perform ins�ections of the stormwater faci[ities and BMPs and conduc� maintenance activities specified in this Dec[aration of Covenant and in accordance with the Renton Munici�al Code. Gity of Renton shall pro�icfe at least thirty (30) days'written notice to the�wners that entry an the Property is planned for the inspectian of drainage facili�ies.After the thirty (3�) days,the Owners shall allow the City of Renton to enter for the sole purpos� of inspecting drainage facilities. ]n lieu of inspection by the City,the Owners may elect to engage a licensed eivi[engineer registered in the s#ate of Washington who f�as expertise in draina�e ta inspect the drainage facilities and pro�ide a written report describing their condition. If the engineer aption is chosen,the Owners shall provide written notice to the City of Rentan within fifteen(15J days of recei�ing the City's notice of inspection.Within thirty{30)days of giving this natice,the Owners,ar engineer on behalf of the Owners,sha[1 pro�ide the engineer's report to the City of Renton. If the report is not pro�ided in a timely manner as specified abo��,the City of Rentan may inspect the drainage facilities withaut further na#ice. 3. If City ofi Renton determines from its inspection, or from an engineer's report provided in accordance with Paragraph 2,that maintenance, repair, restoration, and/or mitigation work is req�aired to be done to any af the drainage facilities, City of Rentan shall notify the Owners of the 5pEClftC maintenanc�, repair, res�oration, and/or mitigation work ("Work") required pursuant to the Renton Municipal Code. The City shafl also set a reasonable deadline for the Dwners ta cnmplete the Work, or to provide an engineer's report that verifies completian of the Work. After the deadline has �assed, the pwners sha[I allow the City access to re-inspect fihe drainage faci[ities unless an engineer's report has be�n provided �erifying Completion of the Wark. ]f the Work is not completed within the time frame set by the City, the City may initiate an enfarcement action and/or perform the Work and hereby is gi�en access to the Praperty for such p�rposes. Written notice will be sent to the Owners stating the City's intention to perform such Work.This Work will not commence until at[east seven (7)days after such notice is mailed. lf, within the sole discretion of the City, there exists an imminent or present danger, the seven �7) day notice period will be wai�ed and Work will begin immediately. 4. The Owners shall assume all responsibility for the cost of any Work, ar any measures taken by the City to address canditians as deseribed in Paragraph 3.
