HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW: SEPA for City of Renton Project.msgHi Alex, Thanks for checking in. From the checklist and DNS, it sounds like the project might include non-retail food manufacturing. The details of the proposal could affect whether/how a Notice of Construction Order of Approval (a permit for air emissions). For example, some equipment used for non-retail food manufacturing like ovens require permitting. Below is PSCAA’s comment for SEPA on the proposed project: The proposed action may require a permit from PSCAA. Please ask the applicant to contact us or review our requirements on our website, pscleanair.gov. Thanks again for checking, Madeline Camp Engineer MadelineC@pscleanair.org <mailto:MadelineC@pscleanair.org> 206.689.4063 Puget Sound Clean Air Agency 1904 3rd Ave – Suite 105 Seattle, WA 98101 "Working together for clean air" From: Alex Morganroth <AMorganroth@Rentonwa.gov> Sent: Tuesday, June 23, 2020 7:48 PM To: Madeline Camp <MadelineC@pscleanair.gov> Subject: SEPA for City of Renton Project Hi Madeline, I reached out to you a few months ago to get PSCA’s take on a Boeing Paint Hangar project – the comments your provided were very helpful. I’ve got another project that I wanted to run by you to see if your agency has any concerns that should be addressed during the SEPA process. The project is a change of use (warehousing à food processing) for the LaMexicana tortilla plant. We don’t anticipate any hazardous fumes being generated by their plant, but wanted to see if there was an SEPA-related comments/issues that PSCA might be concerned about. I’ve attached the SEPA checklist and Notice of Application. If you would like to see anything else, please let me know. Appreciate it, thank you.
