Cut Slopes While onsite, rep observed south slopes of the cut slopes to be near vertical and covered in plastic sheeting. Rep observed that the east slopes of the excavation were near a 0.75:1 (H:V) slope. Although over-steepened, slopes are stable in current configuration and stable to work within. The contractor is responsible for providing all safety measures in accordance with state and federal regulation. Rep observed that contractor had sloped the southeast corner of the footing excavation to a 1:1 (H:V). Footing Backfill No footing backfill or compaction was in progress onsite.
