City of Renton shali have the rfght to ingress and egress over those port6ons of the Property necessary to perform inspections of the stormwater facilities ar�d B9�Ps and conduct maintenance activities specified in this Deciaratian of Covenant and in accardance with the Rentan Municipa! Cade. City of Renton shall provide at least thirty (30� days' enrritten notice to the Owners that entry on the Prop�rty is planned for the inspection af drainage faciliti�s. After the thirty(30}days,the Owners shal! allow the City af Renton to enter fQr the se�le purpose af inspecting drainage facilities. In (ieu of inspectian by the City,the Owners may elect ta engage a ficensed civil engineer registered in the state af Washington who has expertise in drainage to inspect the drainage facilities and provide a written report describing their condition. If the engineer option is chosen,the Owners shall provide written notice to the City of Renton rrvithin fifteen {15)days of r�ceiving the City's notice of inspection.Within thirty(30)days�F givin�this notice,the Owners,or engineer on beha{f af the Owners, shal[pravide the engineer's report to the City of Renton. If the report is not provicied in a timely manner as specified above,the City of Renton may inspect the drainage facilities without further notice, 3. If City of Renton determines fram its inspection, or from an engineer's report provided in accordance with Paragraph 2,that maintenance, repair, restoratian, and/or mitigation work is required to be done to any of the drainage facilities, City of Renton shaEl nvtify the (Jwners of the specific maintenance, repair, restoration, ar�d/ar mitigatian work ("Wark") required purstaant to the Renton Municipai Code. The City shali alsa set a reasonabfe deadline for the Owners �o complete the Work, or to provide an engineer's report that verifies campletion of the Work. After the deadline has passed, the Owners shalP allorry the CPty access to re-inspect the drainage facilities unless an engineer's report has been provided �erifying completion af the Work. If the Wark is not completed withir+ the time fram� set by the Cify, the City may initiate an enforcement action and/or perform the Work and hereby is givera access to the Property for such purposes. Such respansibility shall include reimbursement to the City within thirty(30)days of the receipt of the invoice for any such Wark performed.
