City of Renton shall pravide at least thirty{3E3)days' written natice t4 the Qwners that enfiry on the Property is planned for the inspectian af drainage facilities.After the thirty (30} days,the Owners shall allow the City of Renton ta enter far the sole purpose of inspecting drainage fadlities. kn lieu of inspection by the City,the Clwners may eVect tc� �ngage a licensed civil engineer regist�red in the state of Washington who has expertise fn drainage to inspect the drainage facilities and provide a written report describing their canditian. ff the engineer option is chasen,the Owners shal! pr�av'rc#e written notice to the City af Renton within fifteen (15} days of receiving the City's notice of inspection.WBthin thirty(30)cfays of giving this notice,the Glwners,or engineer on behalf of the Owners,shall provide the engineer's repart ta the City of Rentan. If the report is not prov[ded in a timely manner as specified above,the City af Rentcan rnay inspect the drainage facilities without further notice. 3. If City af Renton determines frarn i�s inspection, or from an engineer's report pravided in accorciance with Paragraph 2,that maintenance, repair, restoration, and/or mitigatian work is required to be done to any of the drainage facilities, City of Renton shall notify the Owners of the specific ma"sntenance, repair, restoration, and/or rnitigation work ("Work'") required pursuant to the Rentan Municipal Gade. The Gity shall also set a reasonable deadiine far the Owners to complete the Work, or to provide an engineer's report that verifies campletion of the Work. After the deadline has passed, the Owners shall aflaw the City access ta re-inspect the drainage facilities unless an engineer's report has been provided verifying campletian of the Wark. If the Work is not completed withir� th� time frame set by the City, the City may initiate an enforcement action and/ar perfarm the Wark arrd hereby is given access to the Praperty for such purpases. Written notiee wi{I be sent to the C3wners stating the Gity's intention to perform such Wark.This Work will nat cammence until at ieast seven(7)days after such natice is mailed. ff, u✓ithin the sale discretion of the City, there exists an imrninent or present danger, the seven (7) day notice period will be waived and Work wil! begir� immediately. 4. The Owners sha61 assume all respansibifity for the cost of any Work,ar any measures taken 6y the City to address conriitians as described in Paragraph 3. Such respansibility shall include reimbursement to the City within thirty(30)days of the receipt erf the invcaiee for any such Work performed.
