PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING
Mission Healthcare Early Clear and Grade, 11/9/16

GENERAL:
1. The following preconstruction notes pertain only to early clear and grade work permitted under Utility Permit U16-003474. No other utility construction and/or street work is permitted
as part of this permit.
2. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays by permission only. No work allowed on Sundays.
3. No right of way work is approved as part of this permit.
4. The contractor shall use only sets of drawings signed by the City of Renton for clearing and grading activities. Keep a set of approved drawings on-site at all times.
5. The contractor shall comply with Erosion Control Wet Season Requirements as established by the City of Renton and Appendix D of the 2009 King County Surface Water Design Manual.
6. Streets shall be kept clean at all times. Truck washing and other measures as approved are required for the duration of the project. Provide whatever measures necessary for cleanup
and dust control during working hours and at night.
7. The Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) shall be located on site and shall be maintained throughout construction. Weekly CESCL (erosion) reports shall be submitted to Ian
Fitz-James, Project Manager at ifitz-james@rentonwa.gov. CESCL reports shall outline the status and condition of the erosion control plan, with any recommendations of change or revision
to maintenance schedules or installation.
9. Approved temporary erosion control measures are to be installed as a first order of business and maintained at all times per the approved drawings.
10. Dewatering, if required, shall be less than 25 NTU if discharged into Waters of the State. Pipe conveyance systems that discharge eventually to the ‘Waters of the State’ are construed
as ‘Waters of the State’. If dewatering occurs, the weekly CESCL reports are required to show compliance with the discharge requirements. If dewatering is proposed to a City Sewer
system, a permit from the County and the City will need to be obtained. The contractor is strongly encouraged to obtain required sewer discharge permits in advance of any anticipated
need to discharge to the sewer system.
11. Contractor is to maintain access to site at all times. Access must be able to support emergency equipment in all types of weather.
12. Any minor field changes shall be coordinated with the on-site inspector. Major changes shall be coordinated directly with the City Project Manager, Ian Fitz-James.
