As requested, ESNW representative was on site to continue observation of vault excavation slope stability in addition to observing
and documenting cut rockery progress. While onsite, ESNW rep observed the following:
Excavation Slope Observation:
ESNW rep arrived onsite to perform the daily observations for the over -steepened vault excavation in the center area of the
Weatherly Inn development. The excavation was observed to be stable in the current condition and configuration, suitable for work
to be conducted within the excavation. ESNW rep observed the excavation to be stable in its current configuration. It is
recommended that the contractor inform ESNW if any changes in the slope conditions occur. It is the responsibility of the
contractor to perform all necessary safety measures in accordance with state and federal regulations. ESNW rep will return daily to
observe the condition of the temporarily over -steepened vault excavations and document site activities.
Rockery Observation:
ESNW rep observed that the rockery contractor was continuing installation of the cut rockeries in the south perimeter of the
development. ESNW rep observed the contractors to have installed - -
a 4" perforated PVC drainpipe at the base of the rockery, and that
backfill consisted of 100% clean 24" quarry spalls (pictured to the -
right). ESNW rep will return to continue observation of rockery
installation progress. F

At the client's request, ESNW rep was onsite to observe vault excavation and earthwork activities.
Vault Excavation
While onsite, rep observed contractor use a large excavator excavate the vault. Rep observed over -steepened slopes
(H:V 3:1) at the north, south, east, and west perimeters of the excavation. Although over -steepened, slopes are stable
in current configuration and stable to work within. The contractor is responsible for providing all safety measures in
accordance with state and federal regulation.
Earthwork Activities
Rep observed contractor use a large dozer, a large excavator, and several haul trucks to excavate material from site.
Rep observed contractor exporting material offsite.
ESNW rep will return to observe earthwork activities when requested by client.
