Supplementary Report:
At the client’s request, ESNW rep was onsite to observe footing excavations and earthwork activities.
Footings Excavations
While onsite, rep observed contractor use a medium sized excavator to excavate and the building footings. Rep
observed contractor place a 3”-4” lift of 1 ¼” minus crushed rock for the footing subgrade to increase stability
during wall construction. Rep used a ½” steel t-probe and observed the subgrade to be very dense, firm,
unyielding, and suitable for support of the proposed footings.
ESNW rep will return to observe earthwork activities when requested by client
