Storm Water Discharge ' While onsite, rep used IMHOFF cone to test baker tank sewer water discharge. Rep used IMHOFF cone and found sediment (<3 ml) after testing water for one hour. Rep took PH test and found water suitable for discharge at a PH level of 6.5. 1 Sewer Line Backfill Rep observed contractor use a large excavator to excavate a sewer line. Contractor expressed plans to continue working on sewer line excavation and backfill tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Rep will return to observe and test the backfill as needed. Vault Excavation Rep observed contractor grading the vault excavation to design elevation with a large excavator. Rep observed the south slope to be near vertical, the east and north slope to be 1:1 (H:V) to a near 7' vertical toe, and the west slope to be (H:V) to a near 3' vertical toe. Although over -steepened, slopes are stable in current configuration and stable to work within. The contractor is responsible for providing all safety measures in accordance with state and federal regulation.
