Grady Way Renton, WA 98057 Hello Angelea, Please find attached several photo’s and the fence permit application that I completed a few months back and provided to Tiffany. I acknowledge it is not signed so I will sign it and provide an updated copy. You requested a written justification for the Special Fence Permit. Please see below: I am requesting a City of Renton Special Fence Permit for a couple of reasons. One is due to over 2 years of surveillance by my neighbors who filed a complaint regarding my fence almost a year after it was installed. The fencing provides me with some privacy while on my property. I installed the fence on May 16, 2019 after learning through a court proceeding that the entire front of my home is under surveillance, Lu & Frederick provided photos’ of my entire driveway including inside of my garage that deeply troubled me. When I am on my property they are recording my movements and the movement of any visitors to my home. More importantly when I enter my garage and if my garage door is open as I exit my cars and do things in my garage or driveway I am being monitored. In a recent deposition in a Civil matter now James Frederick living at 720 Olympia Ave NE admitted under oath that he can see the entire front of my home and driveway areas. The fence provides me some privacy from a camera that they have installed on their porch & driveway that has an intrusive angle. I am being stalked by my neighbors and under 24 hour surveillance. Lu & Frederick also installed a peephole on their door that is very low, I have saw them at their door looking out the peephole while I have been in my driveway on my property! I have known when I am being spied on because their dog is barking at the door area….. My fencing eliminates this peephole issue but does not fully eliminate the 2 cameras. It does help! Secondly, you will see the vegetation I had to endure looking at for over 5 years, the vegetation and scrubs were nearly at my knee cap, the rear yard was unbelievably covered with high vegetation, the yard had not been attended too for some time, and I noticed a large box (possible trap of some sort) as well as a black rodent trap near the tree near my home, and near the fence line. On many occasions while going to my waste containers before installing the fence I saw rodents and rabbits running from there side of the property lines from hiding in the high vegetation areas. The fencing provide me with a level of protection from these animals being able to run quickly inside of my garage area and perhaps they can stay confined to their side of the fence. My fencing is just under 6 feet (71 inches). Since filing the complaint Lu & Frederick tried to clean their yard area. But, it remains un-kept & un-groomed. The fencing does not impact ANYONES driveway or visibility. I have provided photo’s. Regards, Andrea M. Brooks (signed 11/15/2020)
