AGENDA ITEM #1. a) KCSWD Engagement Timeline January 29, 2020 Staff Briefed by KCSWD regarding option to relocate CHLF Support Facilities to the site in Renton and Draft EIS timeline January/February 2020 Met internally and briefed Mayor Pavone regarding KCSWD proposed to relocate the CHLF Support Facilities to near Renton Transfer Station (Option #3) February 24, 2020 Mayor Pavone sends letter to KCSWD citing Renton’s concerns with proposed Option #3 in the Renton Highlands March 3, 2020 KCSWD response to Mayor Pavone’s letter assuring that Renton’s environmental and community concerns will be thoroughly evaluated in the Draft EIS March 17, 2020 Staff meet with KCSWD staff and WSDOT regarding scope of EIS traffic study related to the proposed Option #3 June 8, 2020 KCSWD briefing to City Council Committee of the Whole regarding proposed Option #3 August/ Sept. 2020 Draft EIS to be issued –45 Day Public Review and Comment Period December 2020 Final EIS with mitigation plan to be issued
