Subject: Boeing Apron A Stormwater Upgrade
Permit for Shoreline Management, Findings of Fact Item No. 10
Archaeological Monitoring Plan
Dear Mr. Morganroth:
On behalf of the Boeing Company, this letter is being prepared in response to the Shoreline
Management Permit LUA20-000093, ECF, SM (dated September 2, 2020), Findings of Fact,
Item No. ten (10).
FINDINGS OF FACT:
10. Based on an analysis of probable impacts from the proposal, the Environmental Review
Committee issued the following mitigation measures with the DNS -M:
• The applicant shall comply with the recommendations of the geotechnical report
prepared by S&EE, dated March 20, 2020, or an updated report submitted at a later
date.
Response: The project will utilize the recommendations in the geotechnical report
dated March 20,2020.
• If any Native American grave(s) or archaeological/cultural resources (Indian artifact s)
are found all construction activity shall stop in accordance with RCW 27.53.060 and
27.44.020, and the owner/developer shall immediately notify the City of Renton
planning department, concerned Tribes’ cultural committees, and the Washington
State Depar tment of Archeology and Historic Preservation.
Response: If any of the items identified in the finding above are discovered during
construction activities associated with this project , the project will stop all
construction activities in compliance with RCW 27.53.060 and 27.44.020 and the
owner/developer will make all the notifications required as indicated in the permit
finding.
• The applicant shall submit an Archaeological Monitoring and Inadvertent Discovery
Plan MIDP to DAHP and any in terested Tribes for review prior to the start of any

ground disturbing activities. Documentation of the submittal shall be provided to the
City of Renton prior to the issuance of building or construction permits
Response: The project proposes the use of t he Archaeological Monitoring
Training information prepared December 1 2, 2017 by The Wood Group as the
archeological tanning that will be utilized for the Apron A Stormwater Upgrade
Project. The above -mentioned training is too large to attach directly to this letter
however is available for review.
We are requesting that responses and attached documents indicated in this letter be accepted
in response to the Shoreline Management Permit Finding of Fact , Item No. ten (10).
