The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. See also https://cutt.ly/XlXCta9 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review for a proposed Tenant Improvement at the structure constructed as part of the 601 Monster Rd Site Plan approval (LUA18 -000237). The proposed tenant improvement would occur within the norther 94,123 sq. ft. of the building. The proposed tenant improvements would provide approximately 77,735 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 16,388 sq. ft. of office areas (13,425 sq. ft. on Level 01 and 2,963 on a newly constructed mezzanine). A total of 93 parking spaces would be designated for the proposed tenant. No changes in the number of parking spaces or vehicular access are proposed as a result of this Tenant Improvement. DATE OF APPLICATION: February 22, 2021 NOTICE OF COMPLETE APPLICATION: March 1, 2021 OPTIONAL DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS): As the Lead Agency, the City of Renton has determined that significant environmental impacts are unlikely to result from the proposed project. Therefore, as permitted under the RCW 43.21C.110, the City of Renton is using the Optional DNS process to give notice that a DNS is likely to be issued. Comment periods for the project and the proposed DNS are integrated into a single comment period. There will be no comment period following the issuance of the Threshold Determination of Non-Significance (DNS). This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. A 14-day appeal period will follow the issuance of the DNS.
