Hello Sue and Marji,
Staff has reviewed your submitted information and is able to grant your request to waive the architectural elevations.
Please see the attached updated waiver form.
Can you please send me a site plan that relates to the tree inventory that you’ve submitted? You can label each tree
with a symbol and have that symbol correlate to the table on the “significant tree report” document; I need some
clarification on which trees on the site plan relate to the list of trees and shrubs you have provided. I do not need you to
label all plants/shrubs; I’d just like to know where the trees on your site are located and what their size/species is.
Once you have that map/site plan sent to me and have paid the attached invoice, we can discuss project acceptance and
see if we can get the project out tomorrow.

Hello Brittany,
Regarding the additional items requested per the modified waiver form, please see attached. We respectfully
request a deferral of the Architectural Elevations requirement, and approval to proceed with the variance
process as is. Because this requirement was initially waived, we subsequently needed to place an order for the
drawings and there is significant lead time to obtain them. In the interim, we've attached the builder's
engineering and construction plans. Along with the attached building photos and descriptions, we hope this
provides adequate information for the purpose of the variance, determining if the shed can remain in its
current location. If there is anything else we can help clarify, let us know.
Given your upcoming vacation, we would appreciate whatever you can do to facilitate project acceptance
before you leave. Please also provide the name of your backup with whom we can work on this project in your
absence.

have made brief descriptions of the items below. More information on these requirements can be found
on the submittal requirement sheet.
-Architectural Elevations
-Flood Hazard Data
Please see the attached image. The blue area is a Special Flood Hazard Area; please update your site
plan to note this boundary to demonstrate the shed's position in relationship to this edge.
-Floor Plans
-Letter of Understanding for Geologic Risk
Your site is mapped with a High Seismic Hazard critical area overlay. Although a geotechnical report
would not be required until the building permit phase, please prepare a letter per the specifications on
the submittal requirement sheet.
-Photographs of the Property
Please submit photos of the structure from all sides, as well as photos from the street looking onto your
property from a pedestrian view.
-Tree Retention/Land Clearing Plan
This requirement was modified; a separate plan will not be required however we would like information
on what types of trees you have on site to ensure you are in compliance with our tree standards.
-Utilities Plan, Generalized
This document is being requested to demonstrate information on your septic system.
