Good evening,
Until very recently, I lived two blocks from the Red Lion Inn in Renton. I cannot describe how proud and grateful I was that my community was taking care of
people and providing them with a place to stay during this pandemic. To evict them now, as COVID cases are on the rise and the weather is getting colder, is a
cruelty. Drop the ordinance regarding the zoning controls for homeless shelters. Please continue to allow the most vulnerable in our community to continue
receiving the help that they need.
