Subject:Reject AB 2766
Dear Councilmembers,
My name is Tristia Bauman, and I am a senior attorney at the National Homelessness Law Center. I am writing
in opposition to proposed legislation AB-2766. During the COVID-19 pandemic, people experiencing
homelessness need access to safe, stable shelter that allows for social distancing consistent with CDC
recommendations and guidance. The City of Renton should not take any steps that reduce homeless people's
options for such shelter options.
We urge you to reject AB 2766.
Sincerely,
Tristia Bauman
