Update:
Someone that was occupying a room on the 4th floor either damaged or disabled the sprinkler system in the room. This caused an alarm that was responded to by fire
and the sprinkler system in that room to start spraying water. A significant amount of water was deployed, causing standing water throughout much of the 4th floor.
The person registered to that room was questioned, but at this time probable cause could not be developed for an arrest, he remains a person of interest, there were
no witnesses to the incident. The pepper spray comment had come from another resident and was not related to this room.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

A quick FYI on an in progress event occurring at the Red Lion. PD was dispatched in support of Fire for a smoke alarm with sprinkler activation and the resident
barricading himself inside and threatening to pepper spray anyone who entered. Entry was just made, no one was located inside, investigation is continuing….Will
update when I find out more.
Respectfully,
Chief Jon Schuldt
