City Councilmembers, I implore you to keep the Red Lion Hotel Shelter open for your homeless and unhoused population in order to further curb the spread of covid-19. With our governor just now extending our internal restrictions until January, you have even more responsibility than before to keep ALL of your citizens safe. Do your jobs and keep the shelter open, do not let it close or you will risk everyone's health and safety. Be on the right side of public health history, extend safety to your unhoused neighbors.
