Hi Nate,
We looked at this area again and think we’ve come to a solution that provides a more direct route to the crosswalk for the ADA parking users, thereby reducing the risk exposure to TG.
Please see the attached exhibit that shows a westerly shift in the ADA stalls that allows for a 4-foot pathway east of the stalls to the crosswalk. The meandering sidewalk remains.

As we were discussing the revisions to the ADA stall/meandering sidewalk area with Eric U. today, Eric mentioned something that gave me pause. He wondered whether directing the ADA parking
users to the meandering sidewalk presents possible issues versus just having a shorter, more direct path of travel to the crosswalk by means on a flat sidewalk fronting the stalls as
shown in the attached.
I know the meandering sidewalk is an important part of the overall site design as approved by planning. However, I wanted to get your thoughts on the issue of us directing the ADA parking
users to a longer, more winding path to the crosswalk. Please let me know if we should have a call to discuss. Thanks!

I was able to talk with Clark and what you are proposing in the attached (removal of the meandering in blue and making a connection as shown in yellow) is conceptually acceptable. Please
update sheet C-1.1 and send to me for approval. There are other sheets with backgrounds that will be affected by this revision but I don’t need to have them updated.
I’ll follow up with the sign answer when I hear from transportation.
