THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site in the AM in order to observe earthwork activities. Upon arrival we
met with representatives of Tiger Mountain Homes.
Storm Drain Trench Backfill:
Prior to our arrival Fury had installed and backfilled for storm drain trench from CB #1 toward CB #2 (Fig 1). Backfill was
approximately 6-8” thick over the pipe comprised of imported 5/8” minus crushed rock. AESI observed and assessed the
backfill with a ½” diameter steel soil probe and in our opinion this backfill was compacted to a firm and unyielding
condition.
AESI departed the site in the AM and will return upon request.
Figure 1: Red outlined area shows the approximate location of storm drain trench backfill observed.
