CITY OF RENTON
PAY AN INVOICE ONLINE
City of Renton will be uƟlizing permiƫng.rentonwa.gov to pay invoices. There are two ways to pay an invoice online,
either individually or adding mulƟple invoices to your cart and paying them at once. This Ɵp sheet will show you both
ways.
1ST METHOD – PAY INDIVIDUAL INVOICES:
From the Home screen, select the Pay Invoice Ɵle.
STEP 1:
In the Invoice Search field enter the invoice number, select the Search
buƩon.
STEP 2:
On the Invoice Details screen, select the Pay Now buƩon.

STEP 3:
You will be directed to the City of Renton Payments screen, where all fields except “Street 2” are required. Fill out the
Payment Details and select the Submit buƩon at the boƩom of the screen. A receipt will be emailed to the email
provided on this screen. NOTE: We do not accept American Express or Discover credit cards. We accept Visa and
Mastercard only.
2ND METHOD – ADD MULTIPLE INVOICES TO YOUR CART:
You must be logged in to complete this method and the permits with unpaid invoices must be on your dashboard (if
they are not you must use Method 1 above). From the Home screen, select the My Dashboard on the top menu bar.

STEP 1:
Select the AƩenƟon bubble.
STEP 2:
Select the Unpaid Fees link under the State to open the Invoice Details screen for each permit that will be paid.
STEP 3:
Select Add to Cart to add the invoice to your shopping cart.

The invoice will be added to your shopping cart.
STEP 4:
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 unƟl all the invoices you are paying is in your shopping cart. Select the Check Out to pay all the
invoices at once.
STEP 5:
You will be directed to the City of Renton Payments screen, where all fields except “Street 2” are required. Fill out the
Payment Details and select the Submit buƩon at the boƩom of the screen. A receipt will sent to the email used to
register for your online account. In this example, two invoices are being paid at once.
