Dear City of Renton,
Our records indicate that the subject award with the City of Renton ended, per the grant agreement
period of performance, by 12/30/2020. To facilitate the closeout of this award, please complete and
sign the “Grant Recipient Closeout Certification” portion of this letter and forward to: city-chamber-
cbo.grants@kingcounty.gov.
PLEASE RESPOND WITHIN 5 WORKING BUSINESS DAYS, by Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
An official copy of this notification will go in the Grantee’s award file King County. Nonresponse is
considered acceptance and agreement to this certification.
Please note that the subject award with City of Renton was de-obligated from an allocation of the
coronavirus relief fund, as created in section 5001 of H.R. 748, of the CARES Act. An updated FAIN
table has been included in this letter for your reference. Due to King County’s administrative action
to shift the subject award allocation, the City of Renton’s award is no longer included in the City of
Renton’s schedule of federal expenditures reported on the SEFA or subject to the Single Audit
Requirement detailed in the original award agreement.

GRANT RECIPIENT CLOSEOUT CERTIFICATION
☐I herewith confirm that $159,902.75 has been received in payments against the grant budget
of $159,902.75.
☐I understand that no further invoices/claims will be accepted for reimbursement under this
award and that the amount not spent will be de-obligated by a King County internal
administrative action.
☐As stipulated in this closeout letter, the City of Renton will submit the final signed closeout
certification by 5/26/2021.
☐I certify that the Grantee has not received and expended any fund assistance for the same activity
or purpose. This includes any other form of CARES Act assistance, or other Federal, State, or
local funding, insurance proceeds, or other form of monetary payment. I certify that no
duplication of benefits is present on this award.
☐I understand that for this King County award, King County has changed the funding source from
federal to non-federal dollars. Consequently, your organization will not be subject to
requirements set forth in 2 CFR 200 and may not require a Federal Single Audit.
☐I understand that per the terms of the grant agreement, my organization is required to keep, and
produce upon request, all original receipts and other records substantiating activities under
this grant program and in support of the expenditures claimed and reimbursed by King
County under this grant (including records for any sub awardee) for 6 years from the date the
grant was completed.
