This letter is written on behalf of the City of Renton’s Planning Department to advise you that they have completed
their review of the subject project and have issued an Administrative Report and Decision. A copy of the
Administrative Report and Decision is immediately available:

can be easily accessed under Community and Economic Development Land Use Files, or,
• For purchase at a copying charge of $0.15, 8½ x 11 per page. The estimated cost for the Administrative Report
and Decision is $8.55, plus a handling and postage cost of $2.00 (this cost is subject to change if documents are
added or larger)
Appeals of the administrative decision must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on June 9, 2021, Due to
Governor Jay Inslee’s Proclamation 20-25 (“Stay Home, Stay Healthy”), the City Clerk’s Office is working remotely. For
that reason, appeals must be submitted electronically to the City Clerk at cityclerk@rentonwa.gov. The appeal fee,
normally due at the time an appeal is submitted, will be collected at a future date. Appeals to the Hearing Examiner
are governed by RMC 4-8-110 and additional information regarding the appeal process may be obtained from the City
Clerk’s Office, cityclerk@rentonwa.gov. If the situation changes such that the City Clerk’s Office is open when you file
your appeal, you have the option of filing the appeal in person.
Reconsideration: within 14 days of the decision date, any party may request that a decision be reopened by the
Administrator (Decision-maker). The Administrator (Decision-maker) may modify his decision if material evidence not
readily discoverable prior to the original decision is found or if he finds there was misrepresentation of fact. After
review of the reconsideration request, if the Administrator (Decision-maker) finds sufficient evidence to amend the
original decision, there will be no further extension of the appeal period. Any person wishing to take further action
must file a formal appeal within the 14-day appeal timeframe.
If you have any further questions, please call me at (425) 430-7219.
Sincerely,
