Members Present: �
Paul Hebron, Jerri Everett, Adrienne LaFaye, Kim Eshelman, Neil Sheesley, Bill Huls, "

Excused Absences:- Marsha Rollinger, Mitch Shepherd, Evelyn Reingold, and Jaris

Staff Present: Elizabeth Higgins, RMAC Staff Liaison _
Prior to the regular monthly meeting, Renton Municipal Arts Commission members - -
attended a reception with Mayor Law, City Council, other city staff, past
commissioners, and other guests.The reception was in honor of the 50th Anniversary
of the RMAC, which was initiated in August 1965.
At 7 pm, the RMAC attended the City Council meeting at which Mayor Law read a
proclamation declaring August2015 as Renton Municipal Arts Commission Month. -
' Call to Order: The meeting was called to order, by RMAC Co-Chair, Paul Hebron at �
� 7:19 pm. .

The July 2015 meeting minutes were read and approved. �
New Business•: �
' • Puget Sound Access,(PSA) . �
PSA is interested in collaborating with the RMAC to produce a film for Channel
21 and/or 77 featuring the Renton Art Collection.A budget for the project has
been requested by the RMAC. .
• Plaques on Art .
Plaques on various works of public art need to be cleaned or replaeed. Evelyn _
' will be asked to initiate this project � �
• New Development Projects � �
Possible partnering with new contractors in Renton should be worked on,
helping them plan artwork in their buildings before the project is finished is �
the goal. �

• Budget—There was a request to discussthe One Percent,for.the Arts Program
at the next RMAC meeting. Elizabeth said she would put it,on the agenda.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm. �
