Guest Proposal: RickMoreno from Wow Murals had presented a proposal about 4-months ago to place a mural:
on fhe oufside of a burned.out building downtown. However,the owner, Mr: Ho decided to just paint the °
building. He vuas retained by EzeII Stephens,owner of Heaven Sent Chicken to design a mural fo,r:his business.
The location is on 3`d and Morris,across from the Piazza. The mural will be a large wall (130 ft long by 18 ft

high). The concept_is a jigsaw puzzle with Ezell holding up a kid wearing a Seahawks jersey to put the last piece
in'place. Mr.Stephen"s is willing to put up most of the money for tfiis large mural.
All the commissioners loved the design con'cept and think it will be a good use of the large bland wall across

from the Piazza. The RMAC suggested that they complete a Small Grant Application to reque.st funds for$500 .
and under to complete the mural.

�� Public.Art in the Downtown:Librarv: Elizabeth announced a meeting::with representatives from King

County will be heid to finalize plans for the downtown library. They.have already said that they do not -
want to.keep any of the public art that is there. She.will confirm which pieces need.to be moved so the. ,

Piazza West-Gravel Lot:.The Piazza.has been expanded to include tlie open,gravel lot.a,cross the-street o.n th.e
wesf'side. This location is being considered.for a wine.sample spot and Arts Unlimited is suggesting that'it be an

art hub for an'art space. Michel'e mentioned that Pike Place M.arket has reduce:d its space for:crafts people fro.m :

Commissioner.bios were passed around for reference.. Mitch volunteered.to bring lights and cameras to theJuly �
RMAC meeting to take professional pictures of each commissioner. �
