THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site in the AM in order to observe roadway subgrade. Upon arrival we
met with Tom with the City of Renton, Mike Day with Fury, and Mark Seek with Tiger Mountain Homes.
Road Subgrade:
While we were onsite we observed soft spots previously observed and mentioned in AESI Field Report #020. The two soft
spots remained firm and unyielding as assessed by observing construction traffic over the area and not observing any
yielding. AESI also assessed the areas utilizing a ½” diameter steel soil probe and in our opinion these areas are firm,
unyielding, and suitable for asphalt subgrade.
AESI departed the site in the PM and will return 6/10/2021 in order to observe paving.
