After the thirty (3C1} days, the (7wners shall allow khe Ci�y of Rentcrr� to enter for the sole purpase of inspectin�drainage facilities. fn lieu of inspection by the City,the Owners may e�ect to engage a licensed civil en�ineer registered in the state af Washingtean wha has expertise irr drainage to inspect the drainage facilities and provide a writtere report describing their candition. If the engineer option is chosen,the Owners shall provide written rrot9ce ta the City c�f Rentan within fifteen(15)days of receiving the City's nof6ce of inspec#ion.Within thirty(30)days af giving this notice,t�e Owners,or engineer on behalf af the Glwners,sha!! provide the engineer's report to the City nf R�nton. If the repart is not provided in a tirnely manner as specified above,the City o�Renton et-�ay inspect the draina�e facilities withaut further notice. 3. If City af Rentan deterrnines from its inspection, ar from an engineer's repart pravided in accordance with Paragraph 2,that maintenance, repair, restoratian,and/or rnitigatian work is required ta be done ta ar�y of the drainage facilities, City of Rentan shall r�otify the Owners of fihe specific maintenance, repair, restoration, and/or mitigatian wark ("Wark"} required pursuant to the Renton fVtunicipal Code. The City shal! also set a reasanable deadline f�rr the CJwn�rs to complete the Work, or ta provide an engineer's report that verifies completiora of the Work. After the deadline has passed, the Owners shall allow�he City access to re-inspect the drainage faci6ities unless an er�gineer's report has be�n provided verifyin� completian of the Work. If the Work is not completed within the time frame set by the City, the City may initiate an enforcement actian and/or perform the Work and hereby is giwen access to the Praperty for such purposes. Written notice will be sent to the Owners stating the City's intention to perfarrn such Wark.This Workwill not comrnenee unti{at least seven(7)days after such natice is mailed. lf, within the sole discretian of tl�e City, there exists an immir��nt or preserat dang�r, the seven (7) day na#ice period wi11 be waived and Work wrili begin immediately. 4. 1'he Owr�ers shall assume all responsibility far the cost of any Wcrrk, ar any measures taken by the City tc� address conditoans as describ�d in Paragraph 3.
