Strong Tiger Mountain Homes / Mark Becker Blacktop / Joe Sunny, 80’s THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED: Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site at approximately 10:45 AM to observe paving. While on site, we met with Mark with Tiger Mountain Homes and Joe, the superintendent on site for Becker Blacktop. Paving Observations: Becker Blacktop arrived on site at approximately 12:00 PM. Becker Blacktop informed us they intend to complete paving SE 165th St in two approximately 2-inch thick lifts of HMA and complete paving along the west side of 111th Ave SE in one lift of HMA. Becker provided a Rice value of 153.8 pcf. AESI observed paving completed as intended by the paving contractor. Compaction was achieved with Wacker Neuson RD12 and HAMM HD12 smooth vibratory drum rollers. Compaction tests were performed on both layers of HMA on SE 165th St and the single layer along the west side of 111th Ave SE. See Figure 1 for location of paving observed and approximate locations of compaction tests performed by AESI today. Table 1 displays the results of compaction tests performed today.
