Honorable Avery Garrett , Mayor
Members of the City Council
RE : VACATION OF A PORTION OF SOUTH 123rd STREET
Gentlemen :
The Board of Public Works has completed its review of the
proposed vacation of South 123rd Street from N . W . 7th Street to
the north line of Lot 3 , Block I , Woody Glen Addition .
In accordance with action at its meeting of January 13 , 1970 ,
it is the recommendation of the Board of Public Works that the
application for vacation of this portion of South 123rd Street
be granted as requested by the petitioners , since the street
serves no useful purpose to the City of Renton . The Board further
recommends that a 10-foot utility easement be retained for future
extension of utilities , said easement to be centered on the
centerline of the portion of South 123rd Street considered for
vacation .
Sincerely ,
