Hi Jill,
I concur with the report. The trees should be left as wildlife snags for habitat where feasible and
remaining debris can be left in situ.
Best,

Hi,
Attached is the form and report from the arborist. The photos of the trees are on the report. I don’t
have a site map other than google maps.
Let me know if there is anything else needed.
Thank you,

Hi Jennifer,
Do the best you can on the application form and we can help fill in the blanks. There is no fee for a

Hi There,
I was getting ready to fill out this application and am confused on how much information we need to
provide. We have received the arborist report and can include the information mentioned in your email
below. I’m not sure how to fill out the application because it is requesting a lot of other information.
Also, what would the fee be?
Thanks,

Good Afternoon,
Yes vegetative maintenance in a wetland tract or native growth protection easement will require a
critical area exemption application. Please refer to the handout here for more information. There are a
number of items on the checklist that would be waived. Important items needed would the arborist
report, site plan, and photos of tree.

Hi There,
We had exchanged emails awhile back about a potentially dangerous tree. I had asked about removing
the tree but didn’t inquire about trimming the tree. Is trimming the tree something that can be done?

Good Afternoon,
According to the recorded Summit Park subdivision documents, Tract A, which is the area behind the
address listed in the subject line, is a Native Growth Protection Easement that is owned by the Summit
Park Homeowners Association. Written approval via a critical area exemption permit would be
necessary prior to removing the tree. Please have your arborist provide a written report that provides
the condition of the tree and why it needs to be removed. The arborist report should also include a site
plan indicating where the tree is located. I have provided an information handout on the process. When
the arborist report and site plan are ready, please contact Current Planning Manager Vanessa Dolbee at
425.430.7314 to have a project manager assigned to your application.

Subject: Dead Tree Located in Wetland between 521 S 51st Ct
Hi,
I am the property manager for the community Summit Park Townhomes and they had an aborist come
out and take a look at the trees on the property. There is a tree behind the address listed above that he
said is dead and is very concerned about it coming down and he is fairly certain it would hit one of my
communities buildings. I believe this tree is the responsibility of the city and within the city’s wetland
area. Can you send someone to take a look at this tree ASAP.
Thanks,
