Commercial uses will be located on the ground floor level facing the Highway. Phase 3 will consist of a separate commercial building. The intent of this meeting is to facilitate an informal discussion between the project developer and the neighbors regarding the project. While required by the City of Renton, this meeting is not conducted by the City and is in addition to any future public hearing or public comment opportunities available under City of Renton development review processes. She manages the Riviera Apartments just east of our project site. Marilyn ask questions about our apartment sizes, possible commercial uses and amenity package. She felt our project would be a great compliment to their business as their apartments are mostly smaller in size and therefor a different market. They’ve been having some issues with transients along the river and thought our project would help with that. She liked the river trail aspect and thought maybe they could do something like that on their property that would connect but wasn’t sure ownership would go for that.
