PERMITS/REVIEW REQUESTED: Environmental (SEPA) Review
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Renton is proposing zoning and regulations for permanent
supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, and indoor emergency shelters to gain
compliance with E2SHB 1220. Permanent supportive and transitional housing will be allowed in every zone. Emergency
housing and shelters will be allowed in a majority of zones within 1 mile of transit service. Reasonable occupancy,
spacing, and intensity of use requirements are also proposed.

Comments on the above application must be submitted in writing to Paul Hintz, Senior Planner; CED , Planning
