Board of Park Commissioners - Special Meeting
Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 4:00 pm
Video Conference – during Governor Inslee’s “Roadmap to Recovery Plan”
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Tim Searing called the meeting to order at 4:03pm.
2. ROLL CALL
Members Present: Al Dieckman, Larry Reymann, Tim Searing, Cynthia Burns, Shun Takano and Troy
Wigestrand
Members Absent: Marlene Winter excused.
City Staff Present: Kelly Beymer, Community Services Administrator; Cailín Hunsaker, Parks and Trails
Director, and Roberta Graver Administrative Assistant
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Larry Reymann motioned to approve the meeting agenda, motion seconded, all in favor, motion carried.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Al Dieckman motioned to approve the March 16, 2021 minutes as presented, motion seconded, all in favor,
motion carried.
5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS / PUBLIC COMMENTS
None
6. BOARD COMMUNICATION
a. May Creek Runoff – Kelly will get more information and connect with Joe Ferrer in Public Works
to discuss and answer questions.
7. DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS
a. Equity and Inclusion Training – Benita Horn and Preeti Shridar. See presentation and handouts.
Training wasn’t completed, so will invite her back to the May meeting to finish.
