I am waiting on a couple of contracting items to be resolved first before I have the meeting set up, but they will be resolved soon. It cannot. The $104K is a performance surety for the project whereas a deferral is a separate permit with its own surety. The first thing that needs to happen is issuance of the civil construction permit, this occurs at the pre-construction CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton. I can understand that you would want to plan a construction schedule and need to understand if a deferral would be supported to plan accordingly. As I have continued to state we are not in support of a deferral for the shared driveway. I am willing to hear a request as you near completion of the civil construction permit when deferrals are processed, however, it is extremely unlikely that we would reconsider to be in support. Items needed for pre-construction meeting: · Receipt of the required Surety Device o Acceptable Documents can be found on the City website: Civil Permit Page - See Permit Documents Section o Required Bond Amount: $104,833.80 · Certificate of Insurance with coverages as outlined in the City’s Certificate of Insurance Guidelines (See City Website) · A copy of the Civil Contractor’s license · A copy of the Civil Contractors City of Renton business license · Contact Information (Name, address, phone number, and email) for the Specialized Billing Contact who will be responsible for any overtime inspection billing and any work performed by the City on the Applicant’s behalf.
