It would need to be extended a few feet to provide access to Lot 2. That seems to be a far more economical and practical solution than modifications to NE 6th St. Shamrock Heights would also lose some parking capacity on the north side of the street due to the proposed modification, that can again be easily avoided by using the existing entry into Lot 1. During construction, there would be construction debris, trucks and heavy equipment using NE 6th St that is the main through fare for the Shamrock Heights community. The exiting construction for Lot 1 has gone on for more than a year. It would be a hindrance for the residents if the construction would extend for that long a period for the new lot.
