3.a) PROCLAMATION Domestic Violence Awareness Month - October 2021: A
proclamation by Mayor Pavone was read declaring
October 2021 to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month
in the City of Renton, encouraging everyone in our
community to take an active role in supporting all victims
so they can lead healthy lives safe from violent and
abusive behavior. Tina Harris, Domestic Violence Victim
Advocate, accepted the proclamation with appreciation.

4.a) PUBLIC HEARING 2022-2027 Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program: This being the date set, and proper notices
having been posted and published in accordance with
local and State laws, Mayor Pavone opened the public

Improvement Program (TIP).

AB - 2959 Equity, Housing, and Human Services
Department recommended approval of the 2022
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant
agreement (subject to approval as to form by the City
Attorney Department) with King County, to accept an
estimated $423,270 (after contractual set-asides covering
King County administration and human services program
costs), and recommended allocating those funds as
follows: 1) Planning and Administration: $72,978, and 2)
Public Facilities and Improvements Program: $350,292.

Transportation Committee Chair McIrvin presented a
report concurring in the staff recommendation to
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to:
1. Approve the annual updates to the 2022-2027 Six-
Year Transportation Improvement Program.
2. Set October 4, 2021 as the public hearing date for
the 2022-2027 Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program.
3. Present the Resolution for reading and adoption.

Utilities Committee Chair Benedetti presented a report
concurring in the staff recommendation to authorize the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. 6 to
CAG-17-050 with RH2 Engineering, Inc. in the amount of
$520,826 for design services for the Lift Station and Force
Main Rehabilitation Group 1 Facilities - Predesign Project.
