THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site at approximately 12:00 PM to observe building subgrade for Lot 9
and the detached “mother in law house” dwelling. While on site, we met with Mark with Tiger Mountain Homes. We
made observations using a ½” diameter steel probe, and a densometer. We observed that the subgrade soils for the main
home and dwelling were saturated and soft due to recent rains. Probe penetrations of the main home soil subgrade
reached depths of 1’ to 18”. We recommend the contractor allow the soil to dry out using wind rowing today or replace
the soil. The contractor indicated that he would windrow the material in the detached “mother in law house” dwelling,
and planned to excavate the saturated material in Lot 9.
