Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057 Subject: Construction Mitigation Description – Aberdeen Ave. 2-Lot Short Plat Please see below the bullet points addressing construction mitigation for the proposed Aberdeen Ave. 2-Lot Short Plat. • Proposed construction dates: May 1, 2022 – May 1, 2023 • Hours and days of operation: Weekdays from 7 am- 5pm. • Proposed hauling/transportation routes: Hauling route will be from the project site south to NE 27th St. and west to I-405. • Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud, noise, and other noxious characteristics: A temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) plan will be included in the civil plan set and will be implemented by the contractor during construction to reduce the potential for site erosion and sediment laden water leaving the site. These measures include silt fencing, tree protection, rock construction entrance, inlet protection for catch basins, and plastic covering for stock piling. Noise will occur during the initial site development phase at the early part of construction, this will be generated by trucks and trenching equipment required for grading and utility work on site and in the ROW. Followed by normal construction activity until the project is complete. Traffic impact will be minimal after the project is completed as there will be only one additional home. During construction traffic will be impacted by the utility work and grind and overlay that is required within Aberdeen Ave NE. Pedestrian and traffic will also be impacted due to the abandonment of the existing water meter at the north east corner of Aberdeen Ave. NE and NE 27th St. A traffic control plan will be provided to minimize traffic impact to the public. • Any special hours proposed for construction or hauling (i.e., weekends, late nights): No special hours are proposed for construction or hauling. Page 2 Also attached is preliminary traffic control plan. Sincerely, Dean A. Furr, P.E.
