CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION
a. The proposed approximate construction start date will be Spring/Summer 2022 with an
approximate timeline of nine (9) months.
b. Hours of construction operation will be Monday through Friday, between 7:AM and 5:PM.
c. The proposed hauling and transportation route is north on Jefferson Avenue NE or Kirkland
Avenue NE, west on NE 16th Street, north on Edmonds Avenue NE, west on NE 27th Street and
then onto I-405 North. Alternatively, to head south on I-405, the route is south on Jefferson
Avenue NE or Kirkland Avenue NE, west on NE 12th Street, south on Edmonds Avenue NE, west on
NE Sunset Boulevard (SR 900) and then onto I-405 South.
d. Water trucks, street sweepers and any other requirements deemed necessary will be
implemented to minimize construction impacts.
e. There are no anticipated weekend, late night or holiday work hours proposed for the construction
or hauling at this time.
f. Flag persons will be employed and signs will be installed for traffic control, when necessary.
WSDOT Standard Traffic Control Plan is attached. Methods will be adapted to the proposed
construction and route.
