SURVEYOR'S NARRATIVE:
THIS SHORT PLAT IS LOCATED WITHIN THE PLAT OF E-ARLINGTON,
WHICH HAS HISTORIC EVIDENCE OF OCCUPATION LINES NOT
CONFORMING TO THE PLATTED LINES. A SURVEY BY RICHARD
SCHROETER IN BLOCK 5, RECORDED IN BOOK 119 OF SURVEYS, PAGE
005, ACCEPTS EXISTING FENCES AND CONCRETE WALLS AS THE
BOUNDARY LINES. A 1947 SURVEY (UNRECORDED) BY A ROY
STOREY, DISCLOSES OCCUPATION LINES NOT IN CONFORMANCE WITH
THE PLATTED LINES. MR. STOREY STATES "THIS PLAT AS
ORIGINALLY SURVEYED MADE A SHORTAGE BETWEEN BLOCKS 2,3,
AND 4 AND BLOCKS 5,6,7, AND 8." A SURVEY FILED UNDER
RECORDING NUMBER 20000208900002 WAS PERFORMED BY HORTON
DENNIS AND ASSOCIATES (HDA) FOR THE CITY OF RENTON. SAID
SURVEY ALSO DISCLOSES LINES OF OCCUPATION NOT IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLATTED LINES. THE HDA SURVEY DEPICTS
ENCASED MONUMENTS SET AT STREET INTERSECTIONS (OR OTHERWISE
NOTED), THE POSITIONS OF WHICH CONFORM TO PLAT DIMENSIONS.
THE HDA SURVEY OFFERS A PROPOSED CHANGE IN RIGHT OF WAY
WIDTHS ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF S.W. 4TH PLACE AND THE
SOUTHERLY SIDE OF S.W. 3RD PLACE WHICH WOULD SHIFT BOTH
