I apologize for the delay in responding, however we had been working with the applicant to revise their plans to comply with City requirements. You have been added as a party of record for this project, as a party of record you will receive copies of City correspondence and any decisions issued on this project. I have included your comments in the official file for consideration by the decision maker. Your comments included concerns with regards to driveway visibility, maintenance of the existing street, and drainage: 1. The proposed driveway location has been reviewed by the City’s transportation department and no concerns with visibility or site distance have been expressed at this time. 2. NE 6th Street is a public street that is owned and maintained by the City of Renton and is not owned or maintained by the adjacent Home Owner’s Association, as such any maintenance concerns should be provided to the City to determine if action needs to be taken. 3. The short plat improvements would be reviewed by a City engineer for compliance with the City of Renton Surface Water Design Manual. I object to this proposal as a drive way on that side of ne 6th will cause a dangerous blind spot for cars coming in and going out of the neighborhood The construction there has already caused a much garbage on the street and since they won't be part of our hoa, we will have to bear the expense of cleaning up he mess. The property Bing at a higher altitude will cause drainage issues for multiple houses in the neighborhood and the road down the lane. I hope you will consider the concerns of the Shamrock heights neighborhood residents while considering the proposal. CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton.
