Resurfacing Project
Kenneth,
Thanks for your interest in the VMAC Natural Grass Resurfacing Project (LUA21-000448). You have been added as a
party of record.
At this time, the proponent has indicated that no tree removal is necessary and that they’ve taken this into account with
the barge location. In addition, the civil construction permit would be subject to the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection
Act and the applicant would be responsible for adhering to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Bald Eagle
Management Guidelines.
Regards,

The tree referenced to be in the barge area, the tree scheduled to be removed, is a tree
frequented by resting eagles. Is it possible that its removal can be avoided?
