WHEREAS, a proper petition for vacating portion of Victoria Avenue in the City of Renton, King County, Washington, as hereinafter more particularly described, was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on July 14, 1955, signed by all of the owners of the property abutting upon said portion of Victoria Avenue, sought to be vacated, which petition was read at the regular meeting of the City Council on July 19, 1955, and WHEREAS the City Council, after due investigation did fix the 6th day of September, 1955, as the date of public hearing on said petition and directed the Clerk to give r.otico of said hearing in the manner provided by .laT,T; and T REAS the City Clerk has duly caused notice of such hearing to be published and to be posted gor the time and in the meaner provided by law;, mnd ?.._ER1 Ax a public hearing was duly held upon said petition on the day so fixed at a regular meeting of the City Council an4fio protest or objection to the granting of said petition or the vacating of said portion of Victoria Avenue having been made, filed or received, and the City Council did at that time vote to grant said petition for vacating, subject to certain reservations; and WHEREAS the City Council finds that the vacating of the hereinafter described portion of this street is proper and advantageous to all concerned and will serve the public interest and will not cause injury or damage to any properties or persons, but the granting of said petition is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I : The following described portion of Victoria Avenue, to-wit: All that portion of Victoria Avenue„ in the City of Renton, King County, Washington, lying southerly of Lots 13 to 16, inclusive, Block 1, Victoria A. Kelly Additions Renton, Washington (being a strip of lr.ne. 30 f c:,t in 'w_"_dth and 148 foot, more or less, in length) , RIFI ,Rv7 C unto the City of 70mten, the following descr.•.� ��. ,monont therefrom for all public purposes and uses, fie- ,,eit: s • The north five feet of the south one-half and the south five feet of the north one -half of that portion of. KELLY ADDITION.
