HomeMy WebLinkAboutL_Non-Project_ERC_Determination_PublicationL_Non-Project_ERC_Determination_Publication CITY OF RENTON NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE RENTON, WASHINGTON The environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for the following non-project under the authority of the Renton municipal code: 2021 Docket 16 Group D LUA22-000008, ECF Location: Citywide. The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review to review for the following non-project items: Trees: The purpose of the proposed code changes is to provide new development incentives to preserve high-value trees, ensure trees are preserved via methods that discourage future tree removal violations, and appropriately mitigate tree removal violations when they do occur. MFTE Eligible Areas Expansion: expansion of the eligible residential targeted areas to two additional areas. Recommended is the extension of the market-rate and affordable Exemptions to the Rainier/Grady Way TOD Subarea and the extension of the affordable Exemptions to South Lake Washington. A 14-day appeal period will follow the issuance of the DNS. Per WAC197-11-340(2)(c) any person, affected tribe, or agency may submit comments to the City within fourteen days of the date of issuance of the DNS.
