Project Narrative:
Through conversations with Jill Ding, this project falls under the Shoreline Exemption
Permit process for normal maintenance or repair of existing structure or developments.
We are proposing an interior remodel of an existing home with no change to the
existing roof structure and perimeter wall. At the existing front porch/lanai, we are
enclosing covered space into heated space. We are also replacing deck boards that
are in need of maintenance/repair on existing deck. No change to footprint of deck.
Anticipated Date for Work: Construction to begin upon Shoreline Exemption and
Building permit issuance.
Current/Proposed Use for the Site: Single family residence.
Special Site Features: Lakefront.
Statement Addressing Soil Type and Drainage Conditions: N/A, no change to
impervious surfaces.
Total estimated construction cost and fair market val ue of the construction project :
$650,000.
Estimated Quantities of and type of materials involved, if any fill/excavation is
proposed: N/A
Number, Type and Size of Trees to be Removed: None.
Distance from Closest Area of work to the Ordinary High-Water Mark: Distance of
existing deck to be repaired to the high water mark is approximately 20 feet. Distance
of exterior work for the remodel from the high water mark is about 40+ feet. Distance of
interior work to the high water mark is approximately 20 feet.
Nature of Existing Shoreline: Rockery bulkhead.
Proposed Project Height: No change to existing structure height.
