The following preliminary and final plats were considered
by the Planning Commission:
8. The Proposed Plat of Mance Addition subject to the following
conditions:
(a) Recommended that the City be furn&shed with quit claim
deeds for South 173rd and South 174th Streets consistent with
existing 30' easement widths.
(b) Further recommend that full right of way width of 50' or
60' be obtained on one or the other of the above streets con-
necting with Springbrook Road.

(c) That full improvements be provided for all streets ad-
jacent to lots indicated for platting.
(d) That a temporary easement for an .80' turnaround and pav-
ing be provided at the north end of 9Lth Avenue South on Lots
9 & lo.
(e) That 9Lth Avenue South be 60' in width.
9. The Final Plat of Wilson's Subdivision, a replat of portions of
Blocks )41 and 42, N. H. Latimer's Lake Washington Plat, aphrovbl subject
to the provision for a 10' utility easement along the easterly line of
Lots I , 2 & 3 of Blocks I and 2.
The concurrence of the City Council in these reco-mendations is
requested.
The Planning Commission further considered the proposed vacation
of a portion of Victoria Avenue as requested by Mr. Dominic Carpine.
} It is the recommendation of the Commission that the Vacation be granted
with the recommendation that a 10 foot .utility easement be retained on
Victoria Avenue. •

time I• left for Alaska and was gone all summer.
I an now planning to develop my property and I now request

ORDINANCE NO. 1902
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
VACATING A PORTION OF VICTORIA AVENUE, LOCATED
IN THE CITY OF RENTON, DING COUNTY, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating of a portion of a certain street as
hereinafter more particularly described, was duly filed with the City Clerk on or about
June 6, 1961, signed by all the owners of the property abutting upon said portion of
the street sought to be vacated, which petition was read at the regular meeting of the
City Council on said date; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 1095 and after due investigation
did fix and determine July 11, 1961, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City
of Renton to be the time and place for a public hearing thereon and directed the Clerk
to give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS the City Clerk has duly caused notice of such hearing to be published
and to be posted for the time and in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS the public hearing was duly held upon said petition on the day so
fixed and the City Council having duly considered the matter and finding that such
vacation is in the public interest and for the public benefit and will not cause injury
or damage to any properties or persons; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described portion of Victoria Avenue, to wit:
That portion of Victoria Avenue adjacent to Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12
of Block-1, Victoria A. Kelly Addition as recorded in Volume 23
of Plats, page 24, records of King County, State of Washington
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED, subject to and reserving, however, unto the City of
Renton a certain 10 foot easement for utility and other purposes, and said easement
being centered within the street right of way hereinabove described.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage,
approval and legal publication provided by law.
