As the tree has already fallen, the tree may be cut to prevent further damage to the private property. 3 Planning Customer Service City of Renton | CED | Planning Division | JD 1055 S Grady Way | 6th Floor | Renton, WA 98057 Virtual Permit Center | Schedule a Virtual 15-minute Meeting (425) 430-7294 | planningcustomerservice@rentonwa.gov From: Amanda Pole <amanda@aplustree.com> Sent: Monday, January 3, 2022 10:22 AM To: Planning Customer Service <PlanningCustomerService@rentonwa.gov> Subject: Immanent Hazard Tree Removal - Honey Creek Apartments - job 235418 Hello, Our client has an uprooted red alder tree leaning on a fence (already causing damage) that we have slated as an urgent removal as it could cause additional damage to people and property if it continues to fall. It does appear to be within a riparian zone on the property, but the iMap system is often inaccurate, so there may be additional critical areas associated with it (please advise). Can you please provide guidance on the requirements/process to remove this tree as an emergency/immanent hazard? (e.g. some municipalities require permitting after the fact, etc.) The property address is: 1332 Duvall Ave NE Renton, WA 98059 Here are some photos of the tree and a map showing the tree location: CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton.
