CITY OF RENTON NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
RENTON, WASHINGTON
The environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination o f Non-Significance (DNS) for the following non-project
under the authority of the Renton municipal code:
Docket 16 Group E; Code Interpretations
LUA22-000058, ECF
Location: Citywide. The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review to review for the following non -project item: #D-
207 Code Interpretations: Administrative Code Interpretations are binding interpretations concerning land use codes
administered by the City. Draft interpretations are posted online and public comments may be provided during a 14 day
comment period following the posting. Interpretations are then issued at the end of the comment period, subject to comments
received. The interpretation may be appealed. As Code Interpretations are codified, they are removed from the online list. T his
docket item is to codify a group of those code interpretations. The interpretations being advanced for codification are: CI -149
Downtown Window Transparency, CI‐150: Preschools and Permissibility, CI-151: Slotted Drain Requirement, CI‐153:
Administrative Fees for School Impact Fees, CI-159: Open Space Measurement, CI-162: Setbacks Required from Alley, CI-166:
Design Requirement Applicability for Non-Conforming Structures, CI‐167: Secondary Front Yards for Residential Accessory
Structures, and CI‐169: Townhome Development in the RMF Zone.
A 14-day appeal period will follow the issuance of the DNS. More information regarding the appeal process may be obtained
from the Renton City Clerk’s Office, (425) 430-6510 or cityclerk@rentonwa.gov. Per WAC197-11-340(2)(c) any person, affected
tribe, or agency may submit comments to the City within fourteen days of the date of issuance of the DNS. Please submit
