RE: Southport Shoreline Modifications, LUA16-000614, ECF, SM
Response to August 18, 2017 and September 7, 2017 Communications
Dear Mr. McCullough:
This responds to your communications dated August 18, 2017 and September 7, 2017 regarding the
above-referenced land use application (the Project) which is under review by the City of Renton’s
Community and Economic Development Department (CED).
Your communications indicate that the Project applicant has submitted all of the information it intends to
provide on the issues of (1) conducting a supplemental wave review and performing post-construction
monitoring and (2) submitting a detailed moorage plan. Because the applicant does not intend to supply
any additional information, CED has determined that the Project is ready for submittal to the City’s SEPA
responsible official, the Environmental Review Committee (ERC), for action which will consist of the
issuance of a threshold determination under the State Environmental Policy Act.
CED anticipates that the Project will be scheduled for ERC action on approximately October 16, 2017.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at (425) 430-6482 or lclark@rentonwa.gov should you wish to further
discuss.
Sincerely,
Leslie C. Clark
